Regarding Voluntarily Return of the ISO14001 Certification of Kasugai plant

We, Taihei Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. Kasugai Plant voluntarily returned our ISO14001: 2015 environmental management system certification as of June 30, 2024, and decided to shift our environmental measures and initiatives to voluntary operation.

Since obtaining the ISO14001 Certification on October 13, 2006, we have been operating environmental management system and worked on environmental practice for over 17 years.

As a result, our employees’ awareness of environmental practice increased, and we have established a system to maintain and improve our environmental practice through operation of environmental management system over many years and continuous improvement. Considering the cost savings in maintaining certification and support services, we have decided to voluntarily return our ISO14001 certification.

We will continue to strive to improve environmental practice continuously and reduce environmental burden by using our knowledge acquired from the ISO14001 management approach.
